Get to know Linux: ps command
Get to know Linux: ps command: "Over the years there have been certain commands that have really helped me out of a bind. One of those commands is the ps command. The ps stands for process status and it tells you, as you would expect, the status of a process. This is a fast way to know if an application or command is running on a Linux system. Oh sure you could fire up a swell GUI for the same purpose, but that GUI does you no good if you are working on a headless server installation or working on a remote machine. In those instances the ps command is your best bet for helping to manage processes."

For Windows systems it allows to enter any password protected profile without any knowledge of the password. It was acctually started as silly project of mine, which was born from my never-ending memory problems :) Secondly it was mainly created for Ubuntu, later i have made few add-ons to cover some other linux distributions. Finally, please consider this is my first linux project so far :) Entire Kon-Boot was written in pure x86 assembly, using old grandpa-geezer TASM 4.0."

LCD-Plasma Display Technology Shoot-Out
LCD-Plasma Display Technology Shoot-Out - 3D Graphics, Audio & HDTV by ExtremeTech: "If you were shopping for a large-screen HDTV just a few years ago you would have seen mostly Rear Projection HDTVs, based primarily on DLP, LCD and LCoS technologies, plus a fair number of pricey direct-view Plasmas, and maybe a few very expensive direct-view LCDs. Digg, Dug, Buried: How Linux news disappears - Computerworld Blogs: "Like it or lump it, the major reason that determines whether any given online story will get read or not is how much play it gets on news link sharing sites and social networks like Digg, reddit, and StumbleUpon. Testing your DTD XML Schema Validation
Testing your DTD XML Schema Validation: "A Document Type Definition (DTD) document is used to define the legal building blocks of an XML document. Thus, your applications can use a standard DTD to verify that the data you receive from the outside world is valid or to verify your own data, before sending it out to partners. Whatever your reason for using a DTD, it's important to thoroughly test it, like any part of a business process, whether automated or not. A key ingredient of successful testing is the separation of the component that you are testing from the rest of the process or application. With that in mind, this article explains how to perform your DTD testing outside of the application that runs it."

Debugging JavaScript: Beyond Alerts
Debugging JavaScript: Beyond Alerts: "There was a time when debugging JavaScript required a liberal sprinkling of alert messages. Sometimes, just figuring out which line caused the error was an ordeal. Not so anymore. As JavaScript became more and more object oriented and grew in scope, a simple alert box no longer sufficed. Ajax, in particular, created a major impediment to debugging scripts, as its asynchronous nature introduced a multi-threading aspect to the language. As part of multi-tiered applications, scripts can be written, debugged, and even tested using frameworks' built-in functionality or by specialized software. In today's article, we'll begin examining some of the latest ways of debugging your JavaScript code."
