On July 23 2006, Dr. Chuck Brady, an Eagle Scout who started out in medicine, became a North Carolina football team doctor, went on to join the Navy and become a Blue Angel, flew into space as a US Astronaut in 1996, then returned to being a Navy doctor died of apparently self inflicted knife wounds in the woods outside his home.
