Gas prices war ends up in murder, 3 cents is worth a life

Masbouth, 51, of Warren is accused of fatally shooting his longtime rival, Jawad Bazzi, 45, of Dearborn Heights, who owned a BP station across the street. The two stations had engaged in a longtime price war for customers in a city where gasoline prices are consistently among the nation's highest.
