Within a span of 10 days, both ASUS and HP announced their newest Netbook in Hong Kong, the Eee PC 900 and the 2133 Mini-Note on 15 and 24 April respectively. In order to outflank the HP 2133 Mini-Note, ASUS rushed their Eee PC 900 out to the market during the early hours on 19 April at the price of $3,998 (US$513).
