Digg Quirk = Malicious Trap?: "A cartoon hitting the frontpage of Digg on Saturday afternoon carried the typically Digg-like title “Why bros before hos is a fantasy“. With the source site straining under the load of the Digg effect, commenters posted links to mirrors.
Except that one of those links (from a user called “understandable”) was malicious, displaying “the shocker”, attempting to run a number of scripts, resizing the browser and playing a sound file called “jews.wmv”. Unlike the current Facebook issue, this attack appears to afflict Firefox, IE and Opera on both Windows and OSX. Users also report browser crashes and the unexpected launching of IM apps, Skype and email applications."
