The Linux community sucks at times.
Visonix.net » Blog Archive » The Linux community sucks at times.: "I was converted to Linux my senior year of high school by a classmate. Enticed by the prospects of free software, complete control over my system, and breaking free of the chains of Microsoft Windows Vista, I threw myself headfirst into the Linux experience. After trying out multiple distributions - from the Ubuntu series to PCLinuxOS to Fedora to Mandriva - I settled on using sidux, which is based off of Debian unstable. With unmatched fervour, I wiped Vista from my system and installed Linux within minutes. From the moment I logged on, I felt immediately at home. Oh sure, it took a little while before I came up with a system of organization and customized my desktop to my liking, but I never felt as if I struggled greatly during my switch."
