Apple passes Microsoft: "Apple has passed Microsoft as the world's most valuable tech company. This is quite a feat considering the shape the company was in just one decade ago. This change of fortune can be mostly attributed to one visionary man, Steve Jobs. Jobs saw an opportunity to move away from a PC company with increasingly limited growth to a true multimedia company offering gadgets he could have only dreamed of ten years earlier.
