It seemed to me that these emails make more sense as feeds, and it would be better to review them in my feed reader instead of having them clog up my email client. Essentially, I wanted to restrict email to non-passive, two-way communication, and I wanted to utilise RSS/Atom for content consumption and service monitoring.
